Privacy Policy

Last updated: 19 May 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Caledonian Partners Group Limited ("we", "us", "Caledonian") handles personal data collected through this website.

Who we are

Caledonian Partners Group Limited is a company registered in England & Wales, company number 16575718, with its registered office at Unit 222, 82a James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Suffolk IP28 7DE, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the personal data processed via this website.

What data we collect

When you submit the audit-request form on /contact, we collect: your name, business email address, business phone number (optional), your company / Amazon brand name, the rough scale of your Amazon business, and the message you type into the form. We do not collect any further personal data through the website. We do not use cookies. We do not run web analytics that profile or identify visitors.

Why we collect it, and our lawful basis

We process this information for the sole purpose of preparing a response to your audit request and (if you become a client) carrying out the work you have engaged us to do. Our lawful basis under UK GDPR is (a) your consent, when you submit the form, and (b) the performance of a contract, where you go on to engage us. For prospective-client communications that don't end in an engagement, our basis is legitimate interest in following up on an enquiry you initiated.

Who we share it with

We use Web3Forms (operated by Web3Forms / Indie Hackers Apps) as the processor that delivers your form submission to our inbox. Web3Forms acts as a data processor on our behalf and does not use the data for its own purposes. We use Microsoft 365 / Outlook for email correspondence. Other than these processors and our own internal team, we do not share your personal data with anyone, and we do not sell it to anyone, ever.

How long we keep it

Audit-request enquiries that don't become engagements are deleted from our active systems within 24 months. Engagement and client records are kept for the duration of the engagement plus 7 years for accounting, tax, and statutory record-keeping purposes, after which they're deleted.

International transfers

Our processors (Web3Forms, Microsoft 365) may store data in the EU and the United States. Where transfers leave the UK, they are protected by the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or by the UK's adequacy decision for the EU.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; ask us to correct it; ask us to delete it ("right to erasure"); ask us to restrict our processing of it; object to our processing of it; and ask for a portable copy of it. To exercise any of these rights, email contact@caledonianpartners.com and we'll respond within one month.

Complaints

If you're not happy with how we've handled your personal data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, by phone on 0303 123 1113, or by post to: Information Commissioner's Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF. We'd appreciate the chance to put things right first — please email us before going to the ICO.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, the "Last updated" date at the top will change. Material changes will be communicated to existing clients by email.
